The Small Business Development Center at UNF has assisted thousands of potential and existing business owners by providing the management advice, training and information they need to start, grow, and profit.
This experience and knowledge can be utilized by nonprofits to help their organizations manage more efficiently, find funding, and create more awareness. By learning the methods a small business may use, nonprofits can grow and prosper.
All classes will be facilitated by qualified instructors from the SBDC at UNF, public sector organizations, and other experts in their field.
These knowledgeable instructors are well versed and have experience working in the nonprofit sector. They will share insight and information on topics crucial to the success of any nonprofit organization.
Nonprofit Startup 101 (Mini-workshop)
The process of transforming your idea into an operating organization can be complicated. This workshop will provide the information you need to start a nonprofit organization in Northeast Florida ‐ begin with an understanding of why you may or may not want to start a nonprofit organization and what opportunities may be available to you.

Grant Writing for Nonprofits

the Case for Support. It is the Value Proposition
being presented to funders to show they should
invest in a program or project. This workshop is a
hands‐on, writing exercise to develop that Value
